British alt-rockers WHERES BILLY have been elated with the response they’ve received to their new, rather gruesome, video to single ‘Tears & Essays‘, taken from their forthcoming album ‘Forcibly Fed‘, due for release on July 23rd.

Within TWO DAYS the video received a staggering FIVE THOUSAND additional views!!!  Inspired by their experiences of ‘fake’ promoters within the UK live scene, this Sweeney Todd themed video has captured the imagination of all who view it and demands loop viewing!

The band will be launching the UNCENSORED version of the video very soon…..SO WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

The six track’s that make up their new album, ‘Forcibly Fed‘, offer the undiluted emotion and melodic sensibilities of bands like Biffy Clyro and Funeral For A Friend, but with a twist of underlying menace.  With the addition of Charlie Robinson on rhythm guitar (freeing up singer, Darren Robinson (no relation!), to concentrate on fronting the band), the Kent based quintet have worked hard to develop their sound.

‘Forcibly Fed‘ was produced by Chris Coulter (Arcane Roots, Romans) at Spiral Studios and is hugely hook-laden and dynamic, whilst always maintaining a metallic kick.

The Kent-based quintet have already toured the USA TWICE, including headlining the Main Stage at last years Florida ROCKTOBERFEST, playing to over 10,000 people!!

They have also managed near sell out shows at London’s Astoria 2, The Islington Academy and indigO2 at the O2 Arena.  Not to mention their numerous UK tours and further jaunts to Europe.
